Privacy
Cadynce is made by Coevant. This page covers this website. It is short because the website keeps very little.
If you join the waitlist
- What we keep: your email address, when you joined, whether you ticked the updates box, which version of this page you saw, and a private code that lets the leave link in our emails remove your address and nobody else's. Nothing else: no name, no location and no details about your device.
- Why: to send you a thank-you email when you join, and to email you once when Cadynce opens. If you ticked the updates box, also to send you occasional updates about Cadynce and invitations to try it early. You give us permission by joining, and by ticking the box, and you can take either back at any time.
- Who sends the emails: Resend, a company in the United States. To send an email we pass Resend your address and the message. Resend keeps its own record of what it sent, as any email service does.
- Where: in a database run for us by Cloudflare, kept inside the European Union.
- Who can see it: only the person who runs Cadynce. The website can add an address to the list, but it has no way to read the list back.
- How to leave, or stop updates: use the link in any email from us. It works straight away. Or email hello@getcadynce.app from the address you joined with and we will do it.
- How long: if you did not tick the updates box, until the opening email has been sent; then your address is deleted. If you ticked it, until you ask us to stop.
We do not check that the person who typed an address owns it. If someone else entered your address, the thank-you email is how you will find out: use its link to leave, or email us and we will remove it.
The waitlist is separate from Cadynce accounts. Making or deleting an account in the app does not change it.
You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at the same address. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and nothing on it is loaded from another company's servers. Our emails are plain: no pictures and no tracking of whether you open them.
Cloudflare delivers the pages to you. To do that it handles the ordinary technical records every web request involves, such as your IP address, for a short time.
The app
The Cadynce app has its own, fuller privacy notice, shown inside the app before you make an account. In short: it is your data, you can download all of it or delete your account and everything with it at any time, and there are no adverts, no analytics and no tracking tools.
